Book a Playoff Appearance for the Rangers

While I happen to like the new look of the team some of the Ranger fans I know doubt we will be a playoff team. I have just one reason why we will be a playoff team. Henrik Lundqvist. With him in net, we will find a way into the playoffs. Lundqvist has been nominated for the Vezina in each of his first three seasons. Now the question is whether we can get the expected production from all of the Ranger players. If all things and I mean all things come together the Rangers can make a run at the cup. Meaning: Naslund and Redden return to form, Zherdev stops being lazy and scores goals, Dawes, Dubinsky,Callahan, Fritsche, Prucha all step up. So while everything else about the Rangers is changing, one thing remains constant, Henrik Lunqvist between the pipes 70 games out of the year.
